# Overview

The VG pack aggregates the components of the MicroVG foundation library. Is is intended to be fetched in platform projects.

# Restrictions

### Complex Layout on Simulator

The simulator shapes complex layout text with AWT. The emb implementation shapes it with HarfBuzz.

The two shapers can select a different glyph, or apply a different kerning. The width of a string
can therefore differ by a fraction of a pixel between the simulator and emb. The geometry of each
glyph is the same on both sides.
